Instead of the Rolls-Royce® Merlin engine of the original Seafires, the Mk XV carried a more powerful Griffon engine. These massive engines powered the heavily armed Seafire to a top speed of 387 mph (623 km/h). Most arrived in the Pacific Theatre too late to participate in WWII and were sold to France, Canada and Burma, where their presence made an impact on future wars. This kit features detailed parts, a separate radiator and access hatch, auxiliary fuel tank and decals for 2 Royal Navy fighters.
