Oxford 76HB005 1/76 Vauxhall Viva HB Pinewood Green
Overview:
The Vauxhall Viva HB was produced by Vauxhall between 1966 and 1970. It was the second generation of the Viva, and was a larger and more stylish car than its predecessor. The HB Viva was also the first Viva to feature the "Coke bottle" styling that would become a hallmark of the model.
It was available in a wide range of body styles, including saloons, estates, coupes, and convertibles. It was also offered with a variety of engine options, from a modest 1.1-litre unit to a more powerful 1.9-litre engine.
The HB Viva was a successful car for Vauxhall, and helped to establish the Viva as one of the most popular small family cars in the UK. It was eventually replaced by the HC Viva in 1970.
The Oxford Diecast 1:76 scale model is decorated in an attractive deep green, the exterior trim is all finished in silver including the minute Vauxhall name above the rear number plate. The interior is pale green with a black steering wheel. Note the finishing touch in the centre of the chrome split radiator grille comprising an elongated V shape within a chrome surround. This model is based on the 2-door version and is registered MBT 359F from 1967.
