Airfix

Airfix

Airfix is a brand of plastic model kits, accessories, and paints, primarily focused on military and aviation subjects. The company was founded by Nicholas Kove, a Hungarian immigrant to the United Kingdom, and initially produced rubber inflatable toys.

Over the years, Airfix expanded its range to include tanks, ships, figures, and other military vehicles. The company was acquired by Humbrol in 1986, which in turn was acquired by Hornby in 2006. Today, Airfix continues to produce model kits and accessories, and is one of the most well-known and respected brands in the hobby industry.
